As part of an advanced motion graphics exploration, I developed a 15-second promotional spot featuring surfing icon Kelly Slater. The project incorporated carefully selected archival footage enhanced with sophisticated animation techniques, including a custom animated Quiksilver logo reveal that demonstrated precision in vector animation. The production featured strategic implementation of contemporary text animations and intentional glitch effects that served dual purposes—creating dramatic visual impact while establishing rhythmic synchronization with the audio track. These technical elements were deliberately integrated to craft seamless transitions and maintain optimal pacing throughout the compact promotional format. This specialized motion graphics exercise demonstrated proficiency in combining multiple animation techniques within a condensed timeframe to effectively highlight a premier athletic talent in the surfing industry.
