The purpose of this project was for the students to find an issue or cause around campus they were passionate about and design an awareness campaign about it. This group’s topic was space within the College of Design. They researched how much space each department was allocated, created online questionnaires for students and faculty to fill out, and then designed posters that displayed their findings. Their goal was to present their findings to the dean. What they did not expect was that the dean saw their work, was intrigued and sought them out to discuss the project further. In fact, it turned out to be a project the dean wanted to continue with after the project ended.
